A Readiness Check is an important component of a well-managed AED program. Not only is it a legal requirement, but more importantly, it ensures that your AED will be ready when it matters most in case of emergencies. Readiness Checks can be performed by anyone representing your organization and frequently involve no more than examining your AED unit to ensure it is in proper working order. With Arch, Readiness Checks should be performed monthly (approximately every 30 days).
